Curious to learn more about MAP and similar programs for aspiring young musicians in the NYC area?

Join MAP and representatives from more than a dozen local music schools for this in-person, interactive MAP Open House & Music Programs Fair! Whether you're planning to audition for MAP this spring, or simply want to learn more about the musical landscape for young learners in NYC, prospective students, parents, and educators are all welcome.

Unable to join us in person on March 7? Attend our Virtual MAP Open House on Wednesday, March 11 instead! Separate registration is required.

MAP Open House & Music Programs Fair (Strings, Winds, and Percussion)
Event Schedule:

• 9:45-10:15am Check-in
• 10:15-11am Welcome Session
• 11:10am-12:30pm Masterclasses with MAP Faculty
• 12:30-2pm Music Programs Fair*
• 1-2pm Mix & Mingle / Q&A / Raffle (light refreshments available)

*At the Music Programs Fair, meet representatives from other community music programs and schools. As of February 26, the following organizations will be participating: Bloomingdale School of Music, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Cali Pathways Project (Montclair State University), Harlem School of the Arts, Harmony Program, Kaufman Music Center, Lincoln Center Education Young Artist Pipeline, New York Youth Symphony (NYYS), Opportunity Music Project (OMP), Opus 118 Harlem School of Music, Special Music School, United Childrens Music Project (UCMP), Washington Heights Inwood Music Community Charter School (WHIN), Youth Orchestra of St. Luke's.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You are registering for the 10am event on March 7, designed for string, wind, and percussion students. If you play piano or a brass instrument, or you are a composer, please register for the 11:30am event.
