MAP Open House & Music Programs Fair 2025

Curious to learn more about MAP and similar programs for aspiring young musicians in the NYC area?

Join MAP and representatives from more than a dozen local music schools for this in-person, interactive MAP Open House & Music Programs Fair! Whether you're planning to audition for MAP this spring, or simply want to learn more about the musical landscape for young learners in NYC, prospective students, parents, and educators are all welcome.

NOTE: The 10am event on March 8 is designed for string and percussion students. If you play piano, a wind or brass instrument, or you are a composer, please register for the 11:30am event.

Unable to join us in person on March 8? Attend our Virtual MAP Open House on Wednesday, March 12 instead! Separate registration is required.

Event Schedule:

• 9:45-10:15am Check-in
• 10:15-11am Welcome Session
• 11:10am-12:30pm Masterclasses with MAP Faculty
• 12:30-2pm Music Programs Fair*
• 1-2pm Mix & Mingle / Q&A / Raffle (light refreshments available)

*At the Music Programs Fair, meet representatives from other community music programs and schools. A full list of participating organizations will be shared prior to the event.
