Juilliard Campus Tours

The Juilliard School offers In-Person and Virtual Campus Tours free of charge to prospective applicants (students applying to a college program within the next 2 -3 years). Participants must register in advance. All tours are given in English, last approximately one hour, and are led by current Juilliard students.

Tours provide an inside look at classrooms, practice rooms, and performance spaces (as available). While some programs may be in progress, tours do not include class observations. In addition to answering any questions visitors may have, tour guides will share their personal experiences as Juilliard students, which can be especially informative for prospective applicants and their families.

Effective Monday, October 24, 2022, unless otherwise directed, masks are strongly encouraged but not required within the Juilliard Diamond Building. This change applies to campus visitors, including prospective students coming for consultation lessons, and prospective students and families taking campus tours.

While Juilliard continues to strongly urge full COVID-19 vaccination and boosters, we are no longer checking vaccine status for visitors or audience members.

NOTE: If you have been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 10 days, a face covering is required at all times. If you feel sick or have been ordered by a public health authority to quarantine or isolate, please do not enter any Juilliard facility until medically cleared. We also ask that you refrain from visiting campus if you, or anyone in your household, has had a fever, flu-like symptoms, or any COVID-19 symptoms within the previous 14 days.

For information on proper mask usage, please refer to CDC guidelines

In-person campus tours are given to prospective college students and up to two guests for each student. Tour group size is limited to 30 people in order to minimize disruption to the ongoing educational activities at the school.

To register for a campus visit, please select an available date from the calendar at the bottom of this page. Available dates will appear in green; dates that appear in gray have reached capacity and cannot accept any additional reservations.

During the academic year, campus tours are available Monday through Friday at 11:45 AM ET. Tours are not offered on weekends or during Juilliard's academic breaks.

During the summer in-person campus tours are available Monday through Thursday at 10:00 AM ET (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) and 2:00 PM ET (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Please note that the school is closed on Fridays during the summer.

If you are unable to secure a place on an in-person tour, you are welcome to register for a virtual tour. Please be aware that the school is closed to visitors unless they are registered for a scheduled in-person tour.

The Juilliard School is offering virtual interactive tours with student tour guides from the Office of Admissions.

Tours will take place entirely online in a webinar format, allowing the student tour guide to show video footage of campus spaces like practice rooms, performance spaces, and studios while speaking about all majors offered in the College Division at Juilliard. Participants can use the chat function of the webinar to ask their tour guide questions in real-time.

Virtual tours of The Juilliard School are free of charge and available to prospective applicants (students applying within the next 2-3 years). Virtual tours are available on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM ET during the academic year.

Please use the calendar below to register for an in-person or virtual tour by clicking on your desired date. Tours are only available on the green dates below. If your desired tour date is not listed in green, then there are no tours taking place on that date. Tours are approximately one hour in length. Please contact the Office of Admissions by emailing admissions@juilliard.edu if you experience difficulty registering for a tour.

Pre-recorded videos of the Juilliard Campus Tour and the Meredith Willson Residence Hall Tour are available. More videos of life at Juilliard are available on our YouTube channel.
