Juilliard Campus Tours

The Juilliard School offers Campus Tours and Group Tours which are available free of charge to prospective applicants (students applying to a college program within the next 2-3 years). Participants must register in advance. All tours are given in English, last approximately one hour, and are led by current Juilliard students.

Tours provide an inside look at classrooms, practice rooms, and performance spaces (as available). In addition to answering any questions visitors may have, tour guides will share their personal experiences as Juilliard students, which can be especially informative for prospective applicants and their families.

Campus tours are given to prospective college students and up to three guests. Prospective applicants may register for a tour up to one hour before the tour begins. Tour size is limited in order to minimize disruption to the ongoing educational activities at the school.

During the academic year campus tours are available Monday – Friday at 11:45 a.m. Tours are not offered on weekends.

During the summer break campus tours are available most Monday – Thursday mornings. Please note that the school is closed on Fridays during the summer.

To register for a campus visit, please select an available date from the calendar at the bottom of this page. Dates with available tours are highlighted in green.

If you are unable to secure a place on a campus tour, you are welcome to stop by the Office of Admissions to receive informational materials, or ask any questions you may have regarding the school and our admissions process. Please be aware that the school is closed to visitors unless they are on a scheduled tour.

Groups of 10-30 students and their chaperones may request a group tour. At least two weeks advance notice is required. Group tour availability is limited and tours are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that because group tours are offered free of charge and are intended solely for prospective students, requests must be submitted by a teacher or group leader. We do not arrange tours for travel agents or tour companies.

During the academic year group tours are scheduled around student tour guide availability and are not offered daily. Tours may be scheduled for weekdays only; we do not offer weekend tours. To request a group tour, please select an available date from the calendar below (dates with available tours are highlighted in green), click the Group Tour link, and complete the group tour request form.

During the summer break group tours may be scheduled by request by emailing studenttours@juilliard.edu. Space is limited, and requested tours and dates cannot be guaranteed. Please note that the school is closed on Fridays during the summer and tours can only be scheduled for Monday–Thursday.
